Blog

One of my favorite restaurants is Ihop. The one I frequently  go to is located on route 17 near Hasbrouck Heights, Nj. Ihop serves a variety of foods but builds upon their specialty: Pancakes. They provide a variety of flavors of pancakes including strawberry banana, cinnamon, blueberry etc...
They also serve the classic breakfast foods and lunches as well. Such as omelettes, sandwiches and french toast. This is my favorite restaurant because it has a homey, diner feel. Their food is really good and the service is usually exceptional. If this restaurant were to close down, I would go to a nearby diner instead.

RSS

1. Why did you select the sites you subscribed to?
These were some of the sites that I visit most frequently and the ones that most interest me.

2. Was it easy to find feeds and subscribe to them?
Yes, because RSS symbols are usually on every major site, as well as being easily accessible as well.

3. Which sites were your favorites?
The news and hobby related feeds were my favorites. They let me see all of the information related to the topic.

4. What else can you use RSS feeds for?
I would utilize RSS feeds to condense large amounts of information into smaller increments, making it easier and more efficient to read.

5. How likely are you to continue to use RSS feeds in the future?
Now knowing how it's used, I am more likely to use RSS feeds.

Blog Post 12/5

Australian Red cross has been looking into new ways to make taking blood more efficient.
They are beginning to utilize a device that uses vein visualization technology. This projects images of the veins by using near infrared lights. The infrared is used because our veins contain a chemical that absorbs the light and in essentially makes the vein visible in green.
With this new invention, doctors can escape from hurting patients in trying to find their vein with dreaded needles.

Do Now

We should have a engineering class. It would be a great class for people who have strong interests in robotics and creating programs. It would be an after school activity starting at around 4. It would take place in the cafeteria and sustain about 25-30 kids. There, they would have several instructors to split up the students into smaller groups to work on different projects. Projects would consist of different aspects of engineering. No project would be the same amongst each group. Every Friday each group would present their respective projects to the rest of the groups.
